This makes it seem that mysql is better supported than postgres, got any experiences on this?
Only thing I noticed so far is that database dump is only supported for mysql.

Hi, I don't really have any current recommendations, since I'm not using LimeSurvey actively at the moment. Way back when, the MySQL support was more mature.
