I ported OpenWrt to this device, all Ethernet ports and USB ports work. Wifi, xDSL, and FXS dont. It can boot from the RAM via TFTP and a permeant NAND installation.

can you only install this though via ttl ? or can you do via web ?

I only verified the installation via CFE. To get access to CFE console, you need TTL serial access anyway.

I dont know if there is a web interface for firmware upgrade, you can try on that if you can find such web page.

This looks very different from the one I have. Might be from a different ISP?

Can you find an upgrade image (that is supposed to be used in this webpage) from your ISP or anywhere else?
Sometimes, the required image is not as simple as a "raw image." We may need to prepend some kind of header and/or encrypt it with a specific key to make the webpage accept it.

It was Optus, there is a optus branded dumb down panel that first greets you, but when clicking advanced options you get this menu system. This device is installed now doing all it needs to (DHCP) so wont be doing anything more with it.

Can you provide a image for this? I have a slightly different model with a working serial connection (at the end it's ac instead of op)

Can you provide the bootlog of the stock firmware? We need to examine the actual hardware spec before attempting to flash it.

Another advice is that, in the first test, instead of flashing the firmware to the flash permanently, you should try the ram boot first. It will allow you to check if everything works as expected, and it wont overwrite your stock firmware.

Hi, Sorry for the late response. I completely forgot about the router until just now (Happy New Years!). Here is the bootlog.
bootlog.txt

EDIT: I went in to the CFE and it asks for a cfe password. Would this cause issues?
