Yes, the key you mention (R7VQLAGDNK) was expired so I had to get a new one to sign the mac binaries. Those should still be signed though. Or are you talking about the windows binaries? Not sure whether they get signed by |
Oh, I think you're right. Previously, I was using the certificate of a friend. But since that expired I meant to get a new one, see #33 (comment). But now that I'm thinking about it, I never did get around to doing that. So PanWriter 0.8.8 and 0.8.9 are not properly signed :-( |
It seems this makes it impossible to open PanWriter. 0.8.8. and 0.8.9 simply are rejected as damaged, and the workaround via Privacy & Security, as mentioned in the post about security warnings, does not work (for me). I had to revert to 0.8.6 to use PanWriter again on Apple Silicon (macOS 15.3.1). |

I wanted to confirm whether the code signature for latest version has changed from 'Stefan Messmer (R7VQLAGDNK)' to unsigned?
