mschap-v2, if sql store md5 password, how auth that? #2

this software is very good!
but I have an question, if mysql store the md5 password,how varify the password.

the user send md4_password, the mysql have md5_password. how to auth it? I'm miss...

it's seemd that pppd-sql can auth it....
