Initial Benchmarking #11
Comments
Build on risk reduction benchmarking.Benchmark containers
Use these two programs to benchmark containers without and with volumes and volumes on NFS/GlusterFS. This will determine the baseline of containers performance. Benchmarking of simple applicationsSimple scenarios to test overall performance improvements.
Use these starting scenarios to test performance of an applications built with containers. I think this is a good starting point for collecting data. @Jacobingalls Does this make sense? This is what I took away from our conversations/research and what i came up with in my brain. Just lmk if we need to change any of this or i need more clarification on what we are trying to do. If so, we can take a scenario, build it and then benchmark it without, with and with NFS/GlusterFS enabled volumes. |
@jeremycastillo I will take Scenario 2 |
