Add function to identify index of object/string in array

If I iterate over an object I would like to have the index of this object as value.

I am doing some transformation tests for LVZ.nrw of hbz.

They have mets metadata that need to be transformed and that beside other stuff state the structure metadata that can have n+1 objects and each object has an ID that need to be replaced. Part of the ID has to be the 1-based index position of the object.

I found a workaround:

Because of #621 I have to add the conditional.
