i wanted a blend mode too and when background is transparent then also blend should work,
just like we have https://github.com/whatisjery/react-fluid-distortion
but there is a problem in this library that there is no blend mode when background =false.

Blend mode is not planned as of now, but if you want to implement it feel free to open a PR
