Hi everyone,
first of all, a big thank you to Mike and all the contributors. I stumbled upon this very project some time ago and finally found the time to get it running. What I was curious about is the following:
With an Apple TV the volume is changed (incrementally!) via HDMI-CEC. When being set to a specific volume level via the slider then the AVR's volume is not being changed but the volume is set within some range (max is the AVR's current volume I guess?).
How do you guys handle the volume control? The easiest is probably to set a min-default volume at the AVR and use the iOS volume slider to either set the volume via the mixer (PCM) or software. I am just afraid of "forgetting" the volume and being surprised with the next song. ;-)
