@beaufortfrancois has landed an implementation (👏) of Sec-CH-Prefers-Color-Scheme in Chrome Canary (≥92.0.4514.0).

We have made a simple demo available that showcases the use case we want to enable.

The explainer now includes static screenshots of the demo's output in case you don't feel comfortable trying it in Canary.

FYI, this has now shipped in Chrome with Google Search engineering working on adding the header to the site. I'd still appreciate Mozilla's view on this.

This is a friendly ping for a position. Thanks!

As a heads up I'm currently prototyping adding a new user preference client hint Sec-CH-Prefers-Reduced-Transparency this as you can probably guess will reflect the prefers-reduced-transparency media feature (see #851 )

(I guess the same copy and paste issue as in WebKit/standards-positions#15 (comment); you probably mean "will reflect prefers-reduced-transparency".)

FYI, I have an open PR about adding Privacy Considerations. See WICG/user-preference-media-features-headers#11 for details.
