Passing state parameter in login request

How can I send the state parameter in the login request, so that it will be returned in the token response?

Here is what have done so far

devise.rb

  config.omniauth :microsoft_office365,
                    Rails.application.secrets.outlook_client_id,
                    Rails.application.secrets.outlook_client_secret

and the login link(*.slim file)(when I pass scopes its considered the passed scopes, however in case of state its not)

-  omniauth_authorize_path(resource_name, provider, scope: scopes, state: user_state)
= link_to omniauth_link
