In reference to this support thread.

It appears that after editing shortlinks via the Bitly dashboard, the updated hash is not returned by any of the available API endpoints, including /shorten/, /expand/, or /link_lookup/.

Posted a request in the Bitly API Google Group to see if anyone else has run into a similar issue.
