Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that I created a AUR package build for your icon theme (great stuff btw):
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/victory-icon-theme-git/

So Arch users can install the theme through their package manager. Hope that is to your liking! If not, let me know I can of course remove it again ...

Best regards

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words and that you're interested enough to add them to the AUR. I know someone else added them a while back when I uploaded a test version but they never updated them when I finally uploaded here to github.

How does the AUR work -- does it notify the uploader when there are changes at the source so it can be updated? Or is it just up to the uploader to check back? Or does it pull/build straight from the source?

Sorry, I'm not super familiar with how Arch or the AUR works unfortunately. But anyway, thanks again!

Hi, better a late than no answer =)
For the AUR you write package builds, which are basically instructions for the package manager where and how to download files, where to store them, how to compile, dependencies etc. As the Package is pointing to the github repo it stays up-to-date as long as the repo stays the same.
