If you don't want to have a version conflict check this document https://developers.google.com/ml-kit/release-notes#april_17_2024.
When I was using react-native-vision-camera (4.1), I got “java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not invoke FaceDetection.processImage” error because it was incompatible with barcode scan.
