Good morning,
Do you have a solution?
Every day my 8 cameras disappear from the app. I cannot reinstall them with a configuration file: it tells me that they already exist.
For them to reappear, I have to stop the application and restart it... everything then returns to normal.
Thanks if you have an idea.
Richard

The speculation is that the new version introduces new time bombs to combat cracking. So please downgrade to 9.2.0

Thank you for your response. The problem already existed with version 9.2.1_11380

I will try what you suggest

Thanks again!

Thin. Version 9.2.0-11289 is not compatible with my synoloy NAS...

I reinstalled version 9.2.2.
I'm giving it a try. I have planned 2 tasks that will be accomplished overnight. One to stop SS, another, 3 minutes later, to start SS.
To be continued...

instead of doing that, you can instead schedule the patch to run every hour.

instead of running patch every hour, i run this every seven hours sudo synopkg restart SurveillanceStation gets the work done. for some reason i am unable to use 2 of my cameras on 9.2.0 but yeah great suggestion

What is the last SS version that the hack actually works. I have SS 9.2.2_11575 with DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 7 on 918+ NAS. SS keeps crashing various time a day. Also, there are gaps in camera recordings, not sure why. I can get an older SS but which one is the last one known to work with the hack?

@ohyeah521 any chance you are able to fix 9.2.2 ?

Rolling back to SS 9.2.0_11289 worked better. No more gaps in recordings, no more crashes of SS since yesterday. For some reason, SS is not respecting Home Mode notification settings and keeps sending notifications. Other than that, everything seems to work. So, for anyone else, the 9.2.2_11575 crack did not work properly. I am happy Synology does not have the upper hand still. The way that brand abuses prices deserves more hacks like this.

I had the same issue with 9.2.2, and as I said above all is resolved if you roll back to 9.2.0 and apply the appropriate fix. No issues in the last 2-3 days, all recordings are fine, SS does not crash anymore (your camera loss is because SS is crashing internally and needs to restart).

i can't rollback to 9.2.0, i have a message who indicate that i can't install version before 9.2.1

9.2.0_11289 also has serious issues for me on armv8 (ds220j) and needs to be restarted every half an hour for it to work.
