It should be possible to use SPARQL to import data (for example, from Wikidata), support RDF links inside of the data, as well as import Linked Data schema (i.e. DCAT, OWL), and export to Semantic Web repositories*

In the current roadmap (and I realise this may not be the most appropriate place to comment on this), it seems forgotten that JSON-LD, as in JSON for Linking Data, closely overlaps with Data Packages, and that - in general - editing Open Data is an essential step towards making it more Linkable and Linked.

It would be great if graph databases / triple stores / geospatal data was at least given a nod to (since you can after all convert anything to tables), if not directly supported in the Open Data Editor. Alternatively, let us at least make it more clear why we are not doing this ... and what alternative tools they could be using for this more advanced purpose. It would be nice to continue seeing an ecosystem of tools being represented, not just a standalone product.

* Zenodo is a giant hub of semantic web activity, though I'm not sure to what extent it's on the roadmap to support more LD features - perhaps talking with them about this could be a nice starting point, e.g. zenodo/zenodo#2019
