Time Tracker

This is a Django REST API project that allows employees to set their working time via HTTP requests. And for the employer to track the data from the employee he wants and get it in a pdf as e-mail (PDF is a simplified version for testing purposes).

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.x
  • Django 3.x
  • pip

Installing

  1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/olsihoxha/timetracker.git

  1. Change into the project directory

cd timetracker

  1. Install the required packages

pip install -r requirements.txt

  1. Apply migrations

You need to set up the database first and then change it in the settings.py

python manage.py makemigrations

python manage.py migrate

  1. Run the server

python manage.py runserver

By default the server will be running on http://127.0.0.1:8000/
