Best setup would be:
Laptop
Mixer
Amplifiers
Monitor Speakers
Main out speakers
Microphones
Stagebox (so we have one line from the stage to our mixer instead of several per mic)
External monitor / beamer (multiple or bigger onces if you have more players)
Video splitter (to replicate on the external monitors and still have your desktop available on laptop)
Enough cables to hook everything up
Spare cables in case something breaks
Laptop connects through HDMI with other monitors / splitter
Laptop aux connects to Mixer stereo input
Microphones plugged into stagebox
Stagebox plugged into Mic inputs (mostly mono)
Mix the singers with lower volume for music on the main speakers (so they hear themselves)
Mix the audio and route to mainout. Ideally the singers are a bit louder than the music track
Hookup the amplifier to the speakers and mixer (main out + monitor out)
Use the equalizer / volume slider to mix each voice
Optional: Compressor to normalize each input to eachother (so everyone will be as loud as everyone)
total pro setup 🤩 we definitely need more than one infographic page for this complex topic. I updated the issue description and added a first rough rough sketch 🎨
