Beginning with Helm 3.8.0 OCI registries are enabled by default. As I have recently learned over lunch, OBS is able to function as an OCI-based Helm Registry for a good while already.

An example of this would be https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/isv:SUSE:Edge:Factory/akri-chart

However, there is no documentation for packagers on how to use this feature or for users on how to add a Helm Registry to their Helm Controller and start using the OBS-built charts.
