As a concrete demonstration of the enhanced damage modeling capabilities in OpenMC, we will carry out an assessment of the impact of radiation damage modeling assumptions for a conceptual FPP design, illustrating the range of estimates that is likely to be produced depending on what assumptions are made. This assessment can be used to provide guidance to the materials and neutronics communities as to where further efforts should be made in order to improve consistency between data libraries,
reduce underlying uncertainties, and achieve better agreement with experiments.
