Image borders cut off depending on snapshot quality #1488

Steps to reproduce

  • Configure visualizer to take a snapshot (e.g., with a model)
  • Set snapshot quality to 4
  • Take snapshot

Expected result

  • HIgh-res snapshot of entire visualizer window

Actual result

  • Half of the expected image is cut off in the image

Environment and GUI version

Windows 11, OpenSim 4.5

See below snapshots taken with setting Snapshot Quality 2, 3, and 4:

These snapshots show the missing parts of the different quality levels. Part of the image is already missing in the top right corner with quality 3 compared to 2, and even more for quality 4.

@jenniferMaier I believe this happens only on high DPI screens/monitors, I'm looking into it but wanted to make sure that's the case to direct my efforts/testing. Thanks

I have two monitors that have approximately 80 dpi and 160 dpi. For both of these a part of the image is cut off, more is cut off for the higher dpi screen.
