Describe the bug

My Setup is 3 Interfaces. WAN, DMZ and LAN. On the LAN interface I have mixed traffic bot tagged and untagged VLAN Traffic. All trusted traffic is untagged. OPNSense acts as bridge between the various networks either tagged or untagged. This setup was working fine under 24.7.7 from which I upgraded to 24.7.10_2. Then all inbound untagged Traffic on LAN stopped working. Traffic from any tagged Network would work except to the untagged Network on the same physical interface. Having inbound untagged traffic to a tagged network worked.

I tried a rollback and since then I'm running 24.7.9 and Kernel 24.7.8 and this works. I have seen others having the same issue and apparently it still persists in the most current Version 24.7.12.

Expected behavior

An interface can work with tagged and untagged VLAN Traffic. Only Outbount untagged Traffic was affected.

Describe alternatives you considered

If an Interface does not support tagged and untagged traffic, this would be strange and should clearly be stated in the documentation. However it is unknown to me that this limitation exists and imho it does not make any sense from a user perspective.

Environment

Software version used and hardware type if relevant, e.g.:

OPNsense 24.7.10 to 24.7.12 (amd64).
Intel® N100
Network Intel® I226-V
