The API isn't transcribing filler words. #916

Both in the playground and in my code with filler_words set to true, filler words are missed in the transcription. Has anyone had luck with this working for them? |

Yeah I can provide a sample video file and the transcript so you can see. It's even in the API playground that it's not transcribing filler words. Here's an example. The transcript does show one "um". Compare that with the audio from the recording. deepgram-sample.mp4 |

The video is helpful but it doesn't really allow us to troubleshoot the audio. Also providing the actual audio file will help too if you can do give us that. If it's not sensative audio, just drop in this thread, or you can email it to |

Suggestion: Try rerunning the request with just the audio to see if any issues are resolved. It's possible the mp4 format is just making the model miss some filler words. |
