How to modify FileSet attributes?

I'm trying to see if I can use FileSet interface to anonymize DICOMDIR, and I'm not getting a grip of it so far.

Here is my current try:

ds = FileSet(input_dir).copy('data/output/test')
for attr in ('Patients Name','PatientID','PatientBirthDate'):
    for f in ds.find(attr):
        setattr(f, attr, 'ANONYMOUS')
        print(attr,f.is_staged,getattr(f,attr)
print(ds.is_staged)
ds.write()

What is the proper way to do this?
