When creating a response to a message:

There is an option to turn on the notification (highlighting) for the person whose message you are responding to:

Initially, the position is set to "OFF", which has been misleading me for some time.
I thought it was a visual bug. The people who answered me didn't know about it either, and I had to literally search for answers to my messages, which is not good practice and convenient.

Eventually:
I suggest replacing the base value of the function from "OFF" to "ON".
