2023 vs 2024-beta for general use stability?

For a general end-user (i.e. not development scenario) wishing to utilize WinFSP with priority to stability, performance, and features (in that order), is it recommended to install version 2023 or 2024 Beta2?

For a general end-user I would say stick with the latest stable release unless a Beta version addresses a specific problem you are experiencing.

Is the installation of SSHFS-Win necessary or Winfsp already contain everything for sucesfull running?

WinFsp and SSHFS-Win are separate projects. WinFsp provides general file system functionality and is not useful on its own. SSHFS-Win provides SSHFS file system functionality and relies on WinFsp.

So if you want SSHFS functionality install both. However if you want file system only functionality (e.g. for use with rclone or other file system) simply install WinFsp and that other file system.
