This is intended to be a gentle poke. Zerocopy seems to have gotten support for variable length types, dataful enums, etc. It might be worth upgrading from the now "obsolete" version 0.6.1 of zerocopy to 0.8.
As far as I can tell, this might reduce or eliminate the need for Hubpack and Ssmarshal encodings.
Also zerocopy 0.6.1 (the current version used) was yanked from cargo due to a security vulnerability.
