I was just wondering if there's any way to get around this. Usually if I get tearing I've been able to get rid of it assigning CurrentMetaMode with nvidia-settings but with fakexrandr it segfaults and I get this in the logs.
I also tried the --setmonitor method but it doesn't work for me either, possibly also due to the Nvidia GPU since there are other reports of it working with dwm which I also use.
