UI layout needs to adapt to screen size #86

I want to rewrite large(ish) bits of the UI.
Starting with better placement logic for all the bits:

graphs
the 2 status lines
time and date
left pane
right pane
the BAM view/png

They all need to be dynamically placed depending on screen dinensions and user preference
