Document permissions and what they mean

From a user: "I have some concerns regarding security because every
time I open my laptop, Pieces requests numerous permissions. As a beginner,
I’m not fully knowledgeable about these permissions, which makes me a bit
uneasy. Additionally, Pieces seems to access data from every application I use
alongside it. For example, in Chrome, Pieces can also extract my web searches.
This raises questions about data privacy."
