Feature request: increase/decrease layer of the player

It would be nice to be able to increase/decrease layer (as in --layer option) of the player online, by keys 9 and 0, for example. I tried to do it for the video (no subtitles), but I don't understand how the PortSettingsChanged event can be issued.

When playing more videos at once, I need to change their layer ordering without restarting them (it has to happen smoothly).

This can be very useful actually to show an overlay video and then switch seamless to another application running in the background.
