PR for new model: Issue at #830 and PR at #1632

Original paper: Freedman et al. 2014 https://journals.plos.org/plosgenetics/article?id=10.1371/journal.pgen.1004016

Parameter values:

  • generation_interval page 3, Figure 5, and Table S12
  • mutation_rate page 3 in Text S9
  • Recombination rate not specified
  • Estimated effective population sizes Table S12
  • Estimated times Table S12
  • Migration rates Table S12

Population indices: {description of population indices} (not sure what is meant by "population indices"!?)

Potential issues that might lead to differences between the model implementations: - the paper included Boxer haploid genome, but did not estimate any parameters for it, so the implemented model excludes the Boxer population.
