Interestingly, this is a stock KSP bug. If you notice the alternator GUI field in the PAW does not update either when you do that.

Was this fixed by the latest release (2.2.4)? I thought I had done some work there to get around it.

Haven't tried yet, as I wait for KSP upgrading to 1.12.2 (with some gamebreaker fixes, hopefully). Then I can try the newest DBS version as you compile targeted to 1.12 right? I am still on 1.11.2 and the dbs 2.2.2. I will get back to this issue then and tell you. If i try it in ksp 1.11.2 possible side effects due to using it on a not targeted version can't be ruled out.

I didn't notice, that the engine PAW does not actualize either. Just watched the energy balance up on the right hand side resource monitor, whichs actualizes correctly in Ksp.
