I added the process I currently use here: https://github.com/psu-libraries/psulib_blacklight/wiki/Library-Faceting-and-Locations-Management#updating-locations

this includes tests performed, such as whether it's in Shadow, and how I handle spacing inconsistencies + the standardization of ILL-related language. We can discuss better ways to do it, but this documents the problems I'm trying to tackle when running manual updates.
