A few more palettes will be useful. The method of adding palettes can be found in static/js/resource.js. The Matplotlib palettes can be found here. I think the following palettes can be added:

sequential: cool, hot
diverging: coolwarm, bwr
miscellaneous: ocean, terrain, gnuplot, rainbow, jet
