When the cursor is into text, the shortkey TAB and SHIFT+TAB do not work.
But if the cursor is in the beginning of its line, TAB and SHIFT+TAB change indent correctly.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. This is to prevent you from adding tabs where you should probably not.
