Is this repository still maintained ? #57
Comments
I will push my request again, for anyone using conda, the repository needs to be published on pypi and conda so I cannot rely on a dev version that I would copy on my side. starting from 3.11 Python is not supporting |
@12rambau thanks for following up, and for the generous offer to take over maintenance. I'm not qualified to make any ownership decisions for this project, but for my two cents I think you'd be a good choice to continue development here given your involvement in Pinging @davemlz and @csaybar in case this slipped under their radar. |
I've tried everything I could to reach the owner of this repository from Linkedins and GDE chats to emails and I never got an answer, I'm forking it to the gee-comunity as it's preventing me from releasing geetools in conda-forge for too long. If at some point someone wants to answer my calls I'll not cut the link between the 2 repos so I'll still be able to merge it back. |
With the recent release of several new dataset and the deprecation of many landsat collection the package is slowly becoming unusable breaking other downstream packages such as eemont and geetools.
is it still maintained and if not would you need someone to have a look to the few existing PRs ?
