This issue is to collect all needed tasks to implement the related ADR.

Issues

  • Implement clusteroperator move
  • Provide and document a sample script to deploy a CAPD+RKE2 Rancher cluster
  • Support air-gapped scenario (for kind --> CAPD+RKE2 sample)
  • Implement and use a test suite to deploy self managed Rancher clusters on all supported providers
  • Implement test upgrading providers on the self managed cluster
  • Implement test upgrading the k8s version on the self managed cluster
  • Document how to use the test suite to automate self managed cluster provisioning for end-users
