Make it work like the fluid grid pulling buckets

I'd say no as it can become quite confusing if patterns suddenly start disappearing from storage if you don't know that this goes to the pattern grid.

Also, I have the feeling that we can keep finding these shortcuts, but I have to draw the line somewhere where to stop.
