@beppe9000 never tested this on Windows! Feel free to submit a Pull Request if you manage to make it work on Windows. :)

I booted the android-x86 iso cdrom using the qemu 4.2.0 binary, but I can't get the live cd to boot.
When selecting debug it stops a couple of times at a command prompt so I figure there might be some problem with the process. Do you have any idea?

It may be SELinux errors but that is far outside my adroid/linux knowledge...

same problem here, debian bullseye / qemu 4.2.0
