Automatically tile apps as they're open like i3

Is there a way to automatically tile windows like i3?

On i3 you can set to automatically tile vertically or horizontally so as you open the app it goes into a new tile and then you can move it if you like.

But ultimately everything gets tiled and if you want full screen for the app you're using you can use a shortcut to make it full screen while you're using it.

Is there a way of simulating that feature with Rectangle?

i guess you're already familiar with i3, but if you aren't that's how it works:

• you have a shortcut to set if you're going to keep tiling horizontally or vertically
• once you open a tile, it will tile based on that parent config
• let's say you open 2 vertical tiles, now they both use 50% of the screen horizontally and 100% of the screen vertically
• you press a shortcut and change the mode to "tile horizontally"
• you open a new app, now the new app splits the tile you're focused on ( probably the one on the right ) results in:
  • 1st tile: 50% width, 100% height
  • 2nd tile: 50% width, 50% height, top right of the screen
  • 3rd tile, 50% width, 50% height, bottom right of the screen
