This is the current behavior:

work = GenericWork.create!
file = GenericFile.create
work.members << file

work1.members
#=> [ <#GenericFile#file ...> ]

file.generic_work_ids
#=> []

file.save
file.generic_work_ids
["ff365b80b"]

We want the file1.generic_work_ids to show up before the file is saved again.
