We should be able to solve this for simple search

'ai' should look for (slp1) 'ai' and also slp1 'E'.
'au' should look for 'au' and 'O' (slp1 prauga)
'gh' should look for 'gh' and 'G' (slp1 prAghAra'
'bh' -- 'bh' and 'B'
'dh' -- 'dh' and 'D'

Any other cases?
