Is it usual for such information to be there? or was it supposed to be merged with the second entry, @funderburkjim ?

There are few thousands of such entries (without the meaning--or, body-- portion) in the mw.txt, and I have merged many of those (more remaining still) appropriately with other entries or deleted altogether, as many of them are brought out separately with some kind of <lex type="xxx"> tagging.
