The most recent version of shepherd.js is v14.3.0 and has been released on the 19. Nov 2024. However, this library still references shepherd.js ^11.0.0 as a dependency. This means features, such as the new auto placement or the element highlighting, are not available. We currently need the latter (highlighting) and it would be nice to get the improvements & bug fixes that were introduced to the base library. @dependabot already created a PR for the upgrade (although it may require adjustments): #2532
