apt-key is deprecated on Debian / Ubuntu so I think that we have to manage the repo keys in another way.

Just adding a bit: the good Jeff Geerling has outlined a possible solution here.

Basically we could place the gpg key in the current apt keyring location, but we would lose the ability of verifying the hash of the imported keys.
