Caprine doesn't open Messenger settings or alerts #2275

I recently installed Caprine on Mint Linux and the application appears to work, somewhat.
But when I select security alerts or try to access Messenger settings, nothing happens.

Caprine 2.60.3
Electron 29.0.1
linux 6.8.0-51-generic
Locale: en-GB

I believe that this is related to #2265. When you delete the 'hide-preferences-window' class both security alerts and Messenger settings start to magically work again.
