How to send email from alias?

Hello, thanks for the excellente project!

I've been unable to send emails from the aliases of my account.

I have an account <[email protected]> and some aliases associated with it. I am able to receive emails from all the aliases, and able to send email from the account itself, but unable to send emails from these aliases... I don't know if the configuration error is on the stalwart server side (which disables from the alaises???), or if it the client is not configured properly (I'm using snappymail webmail client).

Can somebody help me?

Hi,

Please try setting the log level to trace and then try sending an email from your alias. Then check why the message was rejected in the logs.

I was able to send email from alias using Thunderbird.
I guess I have not configured SnappyMail properly...
So, it does not seem to be a problem with stalwart mail, I'll close this issue

Just faced this submitting messages over SMTP from Roundcube and iOS, I could receive but not send from an alias until Stalwart was restarted.
