It looks like running Cairo PIEs was removed in this PR, is this intended?

Also, will proving Cairo 1 programs be supported in the future?

You can already prove Cairo1 programs, the trace can be generated either with cairo1-run or new scarb execute (available in nightly scarb), e.g. see https://github.com/m-kus/ecdsa-benchmark/blob/master/cairo/Makefile
