hi.
the xdm browser monitor will not work if you use browser only vpn (not system wide)

The addon should be able to communicate with localhost, as XDM runs as a local server. You can check if it is possible to bypass the local loopback ip from the vpn settings

the vpn has no options for anything. It's just a 1 click connect

it's a free vpn that logs in even with a fake email address!
