There are several types of data to be extracted. We will shortly post a graphical analysis of diagrams, trying to separate plots from photographs from schematics. This relates to plots.

linear x-y plots

Examples of these (y by x) are

Voltage - (Specific) Capacity

These are often multiple coloured line plots (?CSV)

{Capacity | Coulombic efficiency} - cycle number

Multiple coloured line plots symbols but without lines (?? CSV)

Capacity - cycle

stepped plots (symbols) ?? CSV

Z-imag vs Z-real

multicolor symbols without lines (?SCV)

XRD powder

sometimes binary, sometimes multicolour. Would turn into CIF

NMR

binary or multicolour . Often vertically layered plots. Would use JCAMP

cyclic plots

Usually multicomponent (usually multicolour)
Suggest new CSV (x and y) for each new plot travelling round the cycle. Which direction?

chemical formulae
